Bizzy Echo

In a 50/50 partnership with Tagg Team Racing Racing, Brilliant Racing Partnership III purchased Bizzy Echo for $65,000 at the June 2020 Ocala 2-year-olds in training sale. Earlier in the week we offered $60,000 for her in a private sale, but the consignor elected to put her through the ring, and we got her for the price we had hoped.

A sweet filly with a caring upbringing, we were impressed with Bizzy’s attitude, powerhouse stride and reach, balance and her pedigree is fantastic.

By Dialed In, she is the second foal out of a 0 for 1 dam who is a half to several talented or at least useful individuals, including Letgomyecho, who was 3 of 4 lifetime winning the Forward Gal (G2) at GP with 101 Bris and first two Bris in high 90s. Apparently she got hurt in the Ashland or soon there after and retired. She is the dam of J Boys Echo and the monster 3yo sprinter Echo Town. Bizzy hails from a tremendous female family that might be even better than it looks.

A little run down after the physical and mental stress of the sale, we gave Bizzy the time she needed to develop at her own pace. She finished a very promising fourth behind the graded stakes placed Euphoric in her career debut at Fair Grounds, and learned some important lessons in a pair of follow-up starts at Churchill.

Dropped into a $50,000 maiden claimer in her fourth career run with leading jockey Tyler Gaffalione aboard on June 24, 2021, Bizzy buzzed right along on the front end and set sizzling fractions of 21.33 and 56.87 before completely her 2 1/2 length, gate-to-wire maiden victory in a sharp 1:09.81. On May 30, 2022, once again under the Twin Spires with Tyler back aboard, Bizzy displayed a newfound tenacity in a $50,000 (nw2) claimer, sitting just off the pacesetter before taking over and holding safe to the wire. Speed is the name of her game.

In late October of 2022, Bizzy Echo retired sound and was sold as a broodmare prospect to Trilogy Racing, based in Versailles, Kentucky.
